Confession: I’m totally cherry-picking my workouts lately. And you know what? I’m good with it.
It’s okay if you’re not crushing it right now. It’s okay if you’re not improving your skills right now. It’s okay if you’re not working on your weaknesses right now. It’s okay if you’re just moving in ways that make you feel good.
Today’s workout was challenging but it was all movements I’m good at and feel totally comfortable with. That was by design and that’s okay.
This is temporary and it’s okay if you don’t come out fitter on the other side. You are still worthy. You are still valuable. You are still awesome.
For everything, there is a season. Let this be the season where you remember that you are more than your fitness, more than your physique, more than your position on the leaderboard, and more than your PRs.
