The Durable Runner
In my book, The Durable Runner, I go beyond simply offering yoga for runners or strength training for runners. Instead I help you pinpoint imbalances in your body, choose the most useful approach for you, and then walk you through creating a sustainable routine that works for you.
Alison showed me that a person can marry the physical arts, and with her intelligence and charm she blends disciplines like Yoga and CrossFit. She is as dedicated to herself as she is to uplifting others and using her vast knowledge and skills to help others walk taller, feel better, and live stronger. I really feel in a small way like a better person having met her.
The concept that Alison taught me is that “I can't” is not reality – it’s just the first obstacle to “I can”. Positive attitude coupled with commitment and focus can help you accomplish more than you ever thought was possible.
Perhaps the most important lesson Alison has taught me is that I am capable of anything I set my mind to. If you put in the work, wonderful things happen. She is an amazing coach, mentor, and friend!
